Cape Town

Well, hello again! We are definitely enjoying our time in Cape Town so far. The staff here has been so welcoming.

Cape Town is such a beautiful place. It is huge! The whole peninsula of the Cape of Good Hope is considered part of the city. All the suburb cities are actually part of Cape Town. For the next two weeks we’ll be staying in gorgeous house in Fish Hoek. It is right on the beach on the east side of the peninsula. The bay is called False Bay. The name comes from when the explores were sailing in. They sailed into the bay by mistake and thought that they had gone around the tip of Africa.

The weather here is just lovely. I think it has been in the low 80s F, but it is so windy here, that you hardly feel the heat. We haven’t been to the beach yet, but hopefully we will get there this week.

Well, I’m short on time again, so pics will have to wait a few more days.

Hey everyone! We've arrived in Cape Town. Travel was super smooth. Everything here is so beautiful. We are so excited about living and ministering here. (Well, As excited as we can while suffering from jetlag.) We'll post again soon and put up a few pictures.

Thanks to everyone in Louisiana and Missouri for a great time of fun and refreshment before we left. For anyone who might be wondering, Stephen and I were on the winning team for the first round of the war games and the losing team the second (we were on Jack's team the first, but not the second... ha)

Jubilee had a super first Christmas, though she was very upset that we would not let her eat the wrapping paper. Cute pics of that are on the way too (we are just at internet cafe without our laptop right now.)
I guess that is all for now. Have a great day!
